Thursday, April 16th

7 - 9:30 PM at Showtime Studio in Roseville

Join us for a very special kickoff party with the one and only Lone Piñon!

Friday, April 17th

6 - 11 PM at the Celtic Junction Arts Center in St. Paul

  • 6 - 7 PM - Social Hour with Cajun music & dancing with Eric Mohring & Friends

  • 7:30 - 10 PM Friday Night Concert featuring early country music from The Velvet Twins and Joel Jackson, traditional and contemporary Irish music from the legendary Danny Diamond and Daíthí Sproule, Old-Time, Metís, French Canadian fiddle and dance from Ruby John and Emily Doebler, toe tapping old time music from Missouri Ozarks torchbearers Scrivner and the Bold Characters, and some special surprise guests with Steam Machine and friends!

  • 10 PM - 11 PM Hosted Old Time Jam with Caleb James Hall and Spencer Anderson

  • Jam rooms open throughout the night for those who want to get together and pick :)

Saturday, April 18th

DAY: 10 AM - 6 PM at the Celtic Junction Arts Center in St. Paul

  • 9 AM - doors open/registration

  • 10 AM - 3:30 PM - Hands-on workshops! Fiddle, banjo, guitar, singing, dance, and many more! See the full list of workshops HERE

  • Performances with La Plant Road, Joe Zavaan Johnson, Ruby John & Emily Doebler,

  • Panel discussion on tradition and innovation with Danny Diamond, David Scrivner, and Kevin Gamble

  • 11:30 - 4 PM - Craft activities with the Center for People and Craft and crankie-making with Olli Johnson

  • 10 AM - 5 PM - Family activities all day (note: a few require pre-registration. See workshops page for more info)

  • 10 - 6 PM Hosted and open jams all day

  • 4 - 6 PM - Happy Hour Jam: A Celebration of the music of Iowa fiddler Alan Murphy

NIGHT: 7 PM - MIDNIGHT at the Celtic Junction Arts Center in St. Paul

  • 7 PM - Doors open

  • 7:30 PM - Performance by the Wild Goose Chase Cloggers

  • 8 - 10 PM - Square Dance with Scrivner and the Bold Characters! Dances taught and called by a rotating line up of callers TBA! No experience necessary, all are welcome.

  • Irish music jam with Danny Diamond and Daithe Sproule!

  • 9:30 - 10:30 PM Honky Tonk Dance Party with the Velvet Twins and friends!

Sunday, April 19th

12 - 3 PM at Merlin’s Rest Pub in Minneapolis

Calling festival participants of all ages - come join us for the Twin Town Talent Contest! Sign up to share a talent, or just come grab some brunch and cheer on the contestants! All types of talents welcome - fiddle, banjo, and other instruments, bands of any kind, singing, dancing, stunts, crankies, magic tricks, etc. Sign up here!

4 - 6 PM at the Midway Saloon in St. Paul

The Grand Finale of Bluegrass Sunday at the Midway Saloon - kick back with a drink and some chicken wings and see your festival staff put on their bluegrass hats! Hosted by Half Baked, but you can expect many guest appearances! (Note: the Midway is not the most suited for kids, but up to you!)

Monday, April 20th

7 - 10 PM at Eagles Club 34 in Minneapolis

  • Close out the festival with us with a special festival edition of the one and only Monday Night Square Dance!

  • All are welcome, no dance experience necessary, all dances will be taught and called. Kids welcome until 9pm.

  • Dances taught and called by visiting guest callers Lindsay McCaw and Bob Zuellig!

  • Live music by band TBA
